Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients
1 bundle of asparagus
1 teaspoon of The High Priestess Tarot Card Spice Blend.
drizzle of olive oil
coarse sea salt

Large Pot
Baking Sheet
Bowl of Ice Water
Instructions
Blanch
Bring a pot of lightly salted water to boil
Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus
Blanch the asparagus for 2 minutes
Place blanched asparagus in the ice bath to stop the cooking
Broil
Preheat oven broiler to high and set the rack to the upper rack
Place the now cooled asparagus on a baking sheet and blot with a paper towel to remove the water, and lightly season with olive oil
Broil the asparagus for 3-5 minutes until the asparagus starts to develop a light char
Season the broiled asparagus with The High Priestess Tarot Card Spice Blend
